Welcome to Selsdon Primary Community Hub

At Selsdon primary we are committed to helping our families and school community to get through difficult times. We strive to make a difference and feel very passionately about creating a community where we can help each-other. We have been fortunate enough to be able to offer our services within the community hub.

What is the Community Hub?

The Community Hub is run by Mrs Knock, it is a remarkable space we’ve had the privilege to establish, serving as a bridge to connect with our school community. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, we’ve been able to extend a helping hand to families in need. Through donations, we can provide essential assistance with the following:

  • Food Items
  • School Uniform and PE Kits
  • Toiletries
  • Pet Food
  • Clothing
  • Footwear
  • Books
  • Household Items
  • Nappies and wipes

Where is the Community Hub?

Our hub is situated in the newly established nurture centre, which can be found in the old year 1 block. You’ll locate it at the rear of the block, adjacent to the school field. Look for signposts to guide you, but if you’re unsure about the location, don’t hesitate to ask any member of our staff for assistance. They’ll be happy to direct you in the right direction. The hub is private and shielded from public view, so you maintain your privacy.

Opening times

We are open for collection:  Monday to Friday: Mornings – 8:40-9:00 Afternoons – 3:00-3:30 

If you have a requirement outside of these times, please contact the office via phone: 02086574038 or email: admin@selsdonprimary.org.uk. Your message will be passed on to Mrs Knock and a time slot can be arrange for you to come to the hub at a convenient time for you.

Lost Property

Lost property has found a new home. We understand that water bottles and school jumpers have a knack for going missing, but worry not. Any lost items will be brought to the hub and safely stored in the porch area (main entrance to Nurture block) which is accessible before and after school and also through out the day . If your child has misplaced something, please don’t hesitate to drop by to check if it’s been found.

Donations

At our community hub, every donation is a valuable contribution. Whether you choose to drop off items directly at the hub or leave them at our office, Mrs. Knock, our dedicated coordinator, will ensure they are collected and put to good use. Your generosity helps us create a stronger and more supportive community for everyone. Thank you for being a part of this, your generosity makes it possible for us to run this service.
